Suriya leads ‘Chennai Rhinos’

Cricket and cinema, the two ‘C’s go hand in hand in India. They are the most accepted and loved modes of entertainment in here, and every movie of a favourite hero or every match where India plays, raises similar emotions among us Indians, that of love, joy, excitement and inspiration.

The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is the coming together of these two ‘C’s, that is to say, cinema and cricket.

For the first time in India, the film fraternities of India will come together to play in a Twenty-20 format of CCL to produce one sensational mixture of entertainment for us, Indians.

Apart from the players, other popular artistes will also be present in the stadium to watch the matches, and cheer their favorite teams. Led by Suriya, the ‘Chennai Rhinos’ representing the Tamil film industry will be present in a full spree of enthusiasm, showcasing true Tamil culture.

The team logo, composition and clothing will be unveiled at the grand event that will be held shortly. The Tamil stars outfitted in eye-candy cricket gear, brandishing bats and balls, will bring to life the all-entertaining confluence of cricket and stars on one of the biggest entertainment platforms.

And for the first time ever, the audience will be able to see them play some serious cricket, interesting isn’t it?

The team will be headed by Suriya, and will include other lead actors like Sarath Kumar, Madhavan, Arya, Jayam Ravi, Jithan Ramesh, Vikranth, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Bharath, Ramana, Vishnu, Abbas, Karthik Kumar, Mirchi Shiva and Shyam.
